Can't believe I havn't joined this forum before!! Bought my first Fiat in 1987 and since then my partner and I have owned the following;
an '81 131 1.6 supermirafiori-great engine but body fell to bits!
an '89 Tipo 1.9 dgt-loved it, in it's day good mpg and mph...
an '89 Tipo 1.4, basic and boring really- last car I had with a manual choke!
two '90 1.1 uno's ( first was written off in an accident) nippy liitle so and so's..
a '92 Tipo 1.4 Forza- one step up from the basic.
a '93 Tipo 1.6 Brio- Am I the only person in the world to have one of these? a great car in it's day with lots of goodies .
a '94 Tempra 2.0 SX- lots of power but the dash kept going wrong so I swopped it pretty sharpish..
a '96 Coupe- the baby one 16v non turbo, but still fun too drive.
a '96 Marea 1.9 SX, but the 75bhp one ! not exactly fast from the lights!
a '96 Punto 1.2 75bhp- kept cutting out when out in heavy rain.
a '97 Bravo 1.4-wife loved it but then decided she needed 4 doors..so
a '97 Brava 1.4- wife didn't like it!..so
a '99 Punto 1.2 SX- wife happy again!
a '98 Marea 1.6 SX, a dark horse, not practical but willing engine
a '99 Marea 130 weekend..now I'm happy! best Fiat I've ever had.
an '01 Bravo 1.2SX Suite- great deal as it was one of the last.
an '01 Marea 1.6SX weekend- good deal again as one of the last.
an '04 Stilo 1.6 SW..very practical and again good value for money although everyone wants the diesel ones,
Upto date now;
an 08 Fiat Doblo 120 Dynamic
and an 09 Grande Punto T Jet.
So as you can see my local Fiat dealer must love me to bits!!
hope to get some good advice etc on the forum. I'm having a problem with the Doblo at present reading lack of power and " engine failure " light( already been to the dealer three times) so I will be hot footing to another thread as I see I'm not the only one.
