General a quick clutch /gearbox question

My clutch need's to be changed in my p-reg cinq sporting, just called the car parts place where i usually get my bits and they list two different clutch kits for the sporting ???

depends which gearbox ........either a C514 or a C526???
Anyone have any clues where i need to be looking on the gbox to get this info

As far as I know all the clutches are the same although if it's any different sure i'll be corrected!

IIRC its the C514 Gearbox on most Sportings...the C526 may well be the Mk1 Sporting...but I dunno..

IIRC, the G/B type is on the differential housing, but it'll be under years worth of road dirt...I only found it by accident cleaning my (gearbox!! ) bellhousing.

I'll have to go and look....EDIT: Its not on the Bellhousing or Selector Mech. housing...The rest of the G/B is 55 miles away so I cant really check!

I thought it was either sporting or non just want to make sure before i order one or take my g-box off and then have the wrong version

just had a good look and cant find any marks, i think i should just buy one of each and take the wrong one back
