if cap is faulty the car does not know how many refills it has had and therefore cannot determine correctly FAP fluid. Easy to check by visually looking at wires as they break at n/s/r wheel arch...french wiring
The car can't know how much fuel is added by every time the fuel cap opens... If it is really necessary for the ECU to know it, it should read the fuel gage-signal...
Every time I add fuel it is a different amount, today I add 40 litres, next week I add 70...
hello everybody ,,, i loaned my car to brother in law last night so he could take friends to airport ,,he putt £20 of deisel in and took tank over half and it did it again ,,,,,:bang: he didnt know about it and thought he had done something to my car lol ....
so onece again the min there is half tank fuel i get the ani pollution fault ,,,, and i know it will go off the min i get to quarter tank ...
Hi, just to let you know that I bought 04 Ulysse from new. Had the dreaded antipollution light come on after 18 months. Went back under warranty many, many times for 18 months with same problem and the garage clearing and changing a clogged up valve and eventually changing turbo as a last ditch effort to resolve problem. But again antipollution light came on and power output drastically reduced. At this point complained directly to fiat and after several months they sent their engineer to the fiat dealership and within 1 hour fixed the problem. Sorry i don't know what he did but has been fine for last 3 years. However memory still haunts me every time I turn the ignition on.
Ps after the turbo was changed, i complained that there was a whine which sounded like a chasing police was close, but I was told new turbos make that noise. Whine was the lessor of two evils, and the fewer dealings I had with the dealership the better!:bang:
There are people out there who can fix this serious problem, but unfortunately they are not easy to find.
