and the answer is ............yes !!!!!

a long story, cut short:

had an astra van, low mileage, clean and tidy, ran like a sewing machine...sweet. until one day it wouldnt start???....off to the local garage to have it code read.........injector pump gone tits up. no problem....until a asked how much to sort out ....about a grand !!!! more than the vans worth, even though it has 4 new tyre, brakes , 6moths tax and 12 months mot (typical)

so , it went on fleabay for spares or repairs and it sold for £400 ( result)

but i needed wheels and quick....( im self employed).......so i had a look and found a fiat marea weekend.......fairly local.....the right money......oh well, it will do until i find somthing else. ( well thats what i told the missus, after her comment ( topic title))

needless to say.........i am quite impressed.........well actually, very impressed.

its going to be a keepr i think..........so, thats why im here.

sorry to bang on.........but nobody else will listen......lol
