A Few Questions

Hi all,

Iv got a few Q's, wondering if any one can help?

I cant help but notice that a few BOO members have their bravo boot door with no handle thingy! I'm assuming that its a whole new boot door as they look pretty seemless in the photos!
Can any one tell me how much it costed to get done, and also where to get the parts?

Also iv managed to snap the piece of plastic that my drivers side fog light is mounted on (dont ask how) - does any one know what part i need to replace so i can fix my fog light back on and how much it costs?

Last but not least - i want to replace my wing mirrors, im spraying all of the plastic parts of my car and i figure its easier to buy new wing mirrors then spray the plastic that they mount on. Iv been looking at 'EVO M6 LED Black Door Mirrors' (motorised ones) can be found here: http://www.body-kit.co.uk/acatalog/evo_m6_style_door_mirrors.html. Can any one tell me how easy they are to fit and if ill need to do anything to my bravo to make the mirror motors work?

Hi mate,

As for the mirrors there easy to fit i got mine (m3) and you buy the base plates specifically for the bravo so they are easy.

Second of all for the boot, that is known as a "smooth boot". Bassically what it is is the handle unit (just that piece of handle that unscrews from inside the boot) is removed and filled then smoothed and sprayed. £20.00 at my mates body shop.

Sounds more like it. Would advise having a plate welded in though as if you put that much filler on I would assume there is a higher risk of cracking.

He does, he cuts a plate down to size welds it in the gap wacks the filler in the crevise thats left and then smooths-job done

So anyhow, lets try and answer some of the questions lol

Not a whole new boot. The handle has been removed, smoothed over and painted.

I'm sure the whole bumper is molded, so you may not be able to change one thing in order to fit the fog proper. Try and weigh up your options, is it possible to bond the light there somehow?

M3 or M6 or whatever range they are, in my opinion, look rubbish. If you decide to buy them, I'm sure if you posted another thread asking how to fit them, someone will give you some help.

only recommend the standard mirrors with sprayed base plates, all them m3 mirrors look really tacky and ****

As for the fog light, im pretty sure that its mounted on a seperate piece of plastic from the bumper as my bumper is still intack but my fog light has snapped off with a piece of the mounting still attached!

I think is best if i take the bumper off first to take a look, do you have to jack the car up to be able too remove the front bumper or can you leave it down?

PS Do inductions really make the engine sound that much better?? and do you have any recommendations?

I was just browsing the bravo members and iv found a lucky chappy with a particularly pretty bravo whith wheel arch trims!! I didnt know any one did them! any idea where i can get a pair?
