General a few Fix It After Today problem

i have a 899 r reg fiat sicento the probblem i am having is when fiona is cold she splutters for a good 2 or 3 miles then she is ok what may be causing her splutters its it a spark plug issue or something more i no nothing about cars lol she starts firsts time every with our fail but dosent run well till she is warm cheers people

If you're lucky it could be a "damp first thing in the morning" thing. In which case new leads are a good place to start.

Otherwise it can be an early sign of a head gasket issue -- compression test will say yea or nay.

cheers fingers please dont let it be head gasket think i could handel the lead chance with the forum help lol mite give it ago this weekend. she is ok after a few a mile or so and in after noon dont find her to be sluggish so jut hoping leads and or plugs

HG is no big deal on any of the 8v cars, though. Don't panic!

when i herd head gasket me back end dropped out lol. am in chorley jaktison. hasnt done it since posting this thread lol
