hi guys, i having a problem with my idling when my a/c is turned on. my uno idles too high thus wasting too much petrol. i could not say how many revs since i dont have the option in my dash, my bet would be in the 1500 - 2000 rev range. but if i switch off the a/c, everything seems to be just fine, I still get more than 40 mpg on the freeway. im driving uno 45 5dr mk2. thanks in advance!

hi there, greeting from jakarta :) seems you have problem with a/c idle vacuum device. is yours is carb version? if so, then you might try this.
mine is uno 1.4 carb and the idle vacuum attached on the backside of carb. the vacuum can be set by using a screwdriver, turn CW or CCW will adjust how much lever to pull to allow additional fuel in.
to adjust it, i always warm up the engine first to get 'engine running condition' then turn on the a/c and start fiddling.
if it doesnt do any change in rpm then yours might be leaked/damaged.
