Hi Guys,

Just want to say to you all.
I will collect my 2007 Fiat Panda tomorrow :)
As italian I have a soft spot for all Fiat. . .my childhood passed me trough, 500 L, 126 Bis, Uno and few more. . . As soon as I will have some garage space would love to get a classic fiat. . .maybe a Panda or Ritmo
Cheers!

Thanks Guys!

Cheers.

Which model is it?

As for alloys, you can usually get a set of 14inch Panda ones (like on the Eleganza) on ebay, though the most common set (which are also my spare set) are the 6x15 old model Punto wheels (perfect fit for the 100hp).

Hello,

many thanks for the advice.
Mine is a 2007 Panda 1.3 Multijet.

will it drive well with 15 inches alloys? or better stick with 14?
I have found a set of 15 inches genuine fiat. . .I have attached a picture to the post . . .could be a possibility?

Appreciate the suggestion/recommendation.

Cheers.

Forgot to mention.

The asking price for the above is £145 plus £20 for fitting.
This includes new tyres the garage said...good?

Here it is a picture of my new Panda. Loving it!

Yellow - the best colour (y)

With a Dynamic, I'd personally stick to 14 inch wheels at most. You'd have to put narrower tyres on to suit the 15 inch wheels and although they'd fit, I think the ride wouldn't be as good. If you're talking about the tyres that you've shown in the pic of the wheels as those which are being offered, they don't appear to be the correct size to fit the Panda. I would imagine a bit of rubbing with those. Ideally you need to keep the same rolling radius as you currently have as otherwise your speedo will be out.

Couple of things then:

1. The Punto wheels you show are 6x15ET35 and fit perfectly on our 100HP.

2. If you are paying £145 for 4 wheels and 4 tyres and the wheels are not bent I will have to harm you. I paid more than that for wheels alone....

3. Yours is normally given the 14 inch option wheels which have 165/55-14 tyres. I suspect to keep rolling ratio similar you'd use 175/50-15 tyres or 185/50-15 tyres. Caveat:

The crucial part s the 'offset' listed as ET on the wheels. This number represents the millimetres the hub-face of the wheel sits on the centre line.

Hopefully someone else on here will know the offset used on the Eleganza/Dynamic alloys - it'll be between 30mm and 38 mm but this is your template along with wheel width.

Thanks for the info.

Would you suggest to avoid it? since the price is way too low i understand.
or should I go a check them out?

I simply love the colour.
Even when my girl said it looks like a colombian taxi - she is actually right, taxis there looks exactly like this one :) lol

I cant wait to have add few extras

As per the wheels, i see some new once on ebay for £240, the classic 14 inch fiat panda! I'll wait a little longer to see if I can find a good second hand par.

Cheers.

I am not sure about the 15 inch wheels compared to the 14 inch wheels:

6x15ET35 - Punto
5x14ET38 - Panda Eleganza

The inside of the rim on the Punto wheels sits almost 1cm closer to the centre of the car. Add to that 185mm tyres and they sit even closer.

May be best to stick with the 14 inch ones.

Hi All,

once again thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

So you'd advice to stick with a standard factory 14 inch?

Because I have found this online:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Allo...98-15x6J-/301601854634?_trksid=p2054897.l4275

Again puntos one, same as the last one, this is without tyres though. It sound a bit more legitimate.

This wheel will affect performance of the care of safety?

Thanks.

Price is good if they are not buckled/scuffed.........but same as I mentioned before, not sure on your model if fat/wider tyres will scuff.....

Fatter tyre = more grip, less economy
