a Big Hello to everyone and a lil help plz

hey guys iv just joined the forum, i have just got a fiat stilo 1.5 active
lovely looking car but when i start it up the airbag warning light comes on and also when i start it it says "brake lamp fail" now the brake lights work perfectly and the car seems to be running fine! i have to take it in for it mot on tuesday will these warning fail the mot, i have read some reviews and these are common faults for what i can tell but still a lil worried as im a student and dont want to be spending loads to get it though the mot.

Hi & welcome here! There is no 1.5 Stilo, I guess thats a Typo & you mean a 1.6?
Favourite for the Air-bag warning is a dodgy connection under one of the front seats. Electrical switch cleaner can help with that, personally I took off all the plugs & soldered the wires together, not all agree on here that this is the right thing to do but it fixed our air-bag warning permanently...

For the brake warning, check the bulbs are EXACTLY the correct type, if they are not it fools the ECU into thinking a bulb is faulty... clean up the bulb sockets while your at it, & maybe check / clean the earths.
