500 A 1200 Sport Owner

Just a quickie to say Hi.
I'm a Welshman living in Scotland (Aberdeenshire).
Recently bought a Fiat 500 - 1200 Sport.
First on my shopping list is seat covers, can anyone recommend some good un's ?

Hi and welcome! Congrats on the car. A for the covers, what are you plan to use them for? Do you need a cheap ones for a muddy dog, or nice looking ones for you? If its the former, I saw some cheap ones in Lidl last week...

Thanks Melanabb, I'm looking for good quality one's. I did see some on Fiat's web site but for £200 a set I think it is a little to steep.

Been up here in Aberdeenshire 8 years now but still love it
Nearly bought a Twin Air from Arnold Clark at Langstracht but we were not happy with sales person trying dirty tricks.
Went to Perth and got a better deal and we felt the 1200 was a better car for our needs (the Twinair was very noisy compaired to the 1200).

Steer clear of Sir Arnold in my experience. Time the sales tactics were scrutinised at his showrooms. After sales care is even worse!

You should have gone up North to St Fergus, Peterhead to the independent with no 'big dealer' nonsense and proper customer care.

I got myself my 2nd 500 there last Saturday - a lovely 11-Plate TwinAir with under 800 miles on the clock.

I can understand what you say about the Twin Air being noisy but it's a cracker of an engine and it's a deliberate design feature to give it that 'note'. I was used to a 1.3MJ and find the TA quicker off the mark but still getting used to the 'hottering' as I try to get to grips with the completely different way this baby needs to be driven. Hopefully I will 'tether' it yet!
