I have a bored out throttle body for an 899cc cinq.When i fitted it to the car i found that there was not that much more power.My questions are as follows;
Is the injector off a fire engine 1108 the same fit [the 899cc inj is an orange color]
When you fit the larger 40mm tricker throttle body do you change the injector to a larger one.
If i used an 1108 injector would the ECU be able to re set itself to the new fueling required.
Are the fuel delivery rates stamped on the injectors as there are part no. plus other codes on the injector.

sorry for all the questions .The throttle body was bored from 30mm to 35.7mm and this seems to be the largest that I would try on these 899cc castings.I know that increasing the air flow would require more fuel,but i just tried it with the std. injector to see if the ECU could add more fuel itself.
 
as far as i know, the injector is both the same .. i have ran the punto 60 tb in my 899 cinq and it ran perfectly, and i personally could feel a bit of gain.

You can just reset the ECU yourself once everything is fitted.

Is the 1108 throttle body cast different,as in its reversed to the way its fitted on the 899cc engine.
I bored out this throttle body myself on a lathe i purchased just as a project.
I had to make two throttle butterflies before i got the shape perfect.
 
the spacer is enlarged,also the metal plate and the inlet manifold is matched, when you floored the car it was like there was too much air flow,or i was thinking maybe the injector should be delivering more fuel to match the increased air flow.
when i put the standard 30mm unit back on the car seemed more driveable,as in better pick up and acceleration.
