General 85hp TwinAir purchase - oil question

[Fiat 500 Twinair Plus]

My car was serviced today , and among other parts used (air-filter,cabin-filter,oil-filter) i also checked the metal mesh oil filter (it was clean).
The oil used was the 5W-40 C3 Petronas Syntium 3000 AV.
Time will tell , let's see how it goes.

The only thing i am questioning , is why i got back from the workshop only approx. 200ml of reserve oil from the 4L can.
I thought , i read in here that the oil capacity for the TA is 3.2L ???

Its possible the can didnt have the full 4ltrs in at either! even if they short change ya by 25cc over thousands of cans that saves em a hell of a lot of money!
