Not getting spark at the plugs. Replaced coil and spark plugs but still no luck. Any suggestions?

thanx

I recently had a similar proble. It turned out to be a problem with my ignition switch. No power was getting to the coil.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Come to find out my ignition switch is having an intermitant problem when i would turn the key the voltage was not going to the coil. Are you getting voltage at the coil when the key is turned?

please kill me.
changed everything (coil, rotor, sparks, ignition, points),..what next? still no spark at coil or plugs.

I haven't change wires yet...would that help?

help before i pour gasoline over my little Fiat:mad:

thanx

I would check the wiring. I have found out that the ground wires on my car get corroded and rusty and do not make a good connection, especially in the engine compartment.

When changing the points did you make sure that
where the curved spring bolts on to the base plate
that it is fully insulated from the base plate and
that the wire which pulses the coil only contacts to
the spring and not the centre nut and bolt attached
to the base plate.

Are the points adjusted properly?
