6*9 help....

hi i am wnating to fit 6*9's into my car. i already have JBL componet speakers on my shelf but i wanted to "hide" them underneath the parcel shelf. i know this can be done but am unsure of how exactly to go about doing it.

i am wanting to keep the speakers i already have in the 'shelf.

you want the 6x9s hidden or the components??

Either way, screw a lump of ply to the 2 metal bars in the uno's shelf to reinforce it all, mount the speakers as you would normally, then just cover the top of the shelf with transparent audio fabric - as used in stealth shelves. It'll look flat on top, the speakers would sit normally in the recess holes, and all speakers would be hidden
