I know im getting to be a pain to some of you but....ive located a 57i kit for the 2.0 16v...will my 1.6 still run ok if i fit it...i know it aint the rite one but other than that im gonna have to go for a custom jobby..( amputates arms and 1 leg now).

(n) cannot see the point in fitting this kit unless you upgrade the chip/or carb, change the cat, exhaust, fuel pressure and plugs.all it will do as standard, is make the engine run weak, and make a noise (n)

I've got a Kit Fitted, I don't know which one it is but its a K&N, its red and its quite large :D

Anyways, when you get it fitted, take your Tipo for a Tune up at a Garage, they will balance the Fuel and Air Mixture.

Best way to attach it is to just remove your old air filter and stick that on the end of the pipe that ran to where the original Air Box was. Don't know how it would look on and Injection model, but an Electronic Injection model won't require a Tune up as The ECU should cater for the extra air by itself, modern cars do anyway, the old Tipo's should do to.

You'll notice the difference, I did... but then I quickley got used to it

this kit was tested some time ago and found to add about 1-2 bhp! if thats what you want to do for all the money it costs, great.but to do it properly, and see 20-30 bhp improvement,do as i suggested.
