Can anyone give me an idea how much a new auto gear box will cost? I've been quoted £1700 so far.
I bought the car from a dealer on April 19th. Gears have been slipping for a few days and took it to a garage today who changed the oil and it's now worse. They warned be it could be the auto box and it is. The warranty expired 10 days ago and the gearbox has gone today. I called the dealer and he said bad luck, nothing we can do as the warranty has expired.
