Technical 51782985 airbag repair

Hello

So I have a fiat 500 with the flashing mileage, fuel cut off and red airbag light. I tried communicating with the airbag module the first time it communicated and found 0 trouble codes but then after that I couldn't get it to communicate again no matter what I tried. So I have realised the module itself is probably knackered and needs repair. My part number is 51782985 I tried a ebay repair service but they just told me it was not repairable without even testing it so I am wondering now if these are repairable and if not what do I do in this situation.

Worth trying a couple of people. I've used Northern Autotech before. But they're not always repairable, so a used unit may be the way forward. You'll need to clear any errors in it and then proxy align to the vehicle using e.g. MultiEcuScan (or someone on the MES register could perhaps help with this).
