I don't think the headlamps on my 500C are as good as they can be so decided to replace them with Philips Racing Vision H4 bulbs. Against my white garage door the certainly look brighter with a more concentrated beam, so will have to see what they are like on the road at night.
The only problem I had in changing them was actually taking out and replacing the bulbs. The hand book states that once the rubber cover is removed twist the bulb anti clock, doesn't say if that is look at the front of the car or from the rear, then pull the lamp out. I couldn't make the bulb turn at all but it did pull straight out and the new ones went in the the same way and just appear to clip in.
Has anybody else changed there bulbs and did you just pull the bulbs out or have to twist them.

Now having a chance to see a brand new 500X at a dealers showroom by looking through the headlamp lens I could compare and see that my new bulbs are correctly fitted. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that the hand book is incorrect when it says the bulb has to be twisted to release it, it just appears to be held in the correct position by spring clips and pulling in and out is the correct method.
