No but I had a Micra that needed this at 50,000. The chain was stretched and as it was a double dplex chain I felt short changed. The bigger issue turned out to be the tensioners has worn badly so the chain was running slack and the slackness probably helped finish the chains off. I didnt buy it new and got a big reduction in the price as the eml was on. It was a lot of dosh to change, but was a t least fixed after. The right oil is clearly important. Maybe the car had been running hot at some time. Othe timing chains of the older style have only needed doing at around 100K in my cars.
i had it replaced at 150.000 Km, the old chain was still decent, but often the problem is not the chain itself, but the pressure plunger that keeps the chain tensioned. better to change it.
