Plenty of information about regarding the models up to 1972 but I can’t find anything for 1975 R
Does anyone know if the points gap is the same on all models ?
Thanks

The nearest you will get to a Fiat 500R manual is a manual for a series 1 Fiat 126 as they shared the same engine apart from the 500R having a different carb. Points gap is 0.015”

Many thanks, that’s really useful

I don't think I've ever disagreed with you Dave, apart from when I've been ignorant of something that you've definitely known better. ;) But I think 0.015" is a bit narrow and quote my copy of Haynes at 0.018 to 0.021", which in metric is 0.47 to 0.53mm.

I find the metric measurements easier and I aim to set the gap at 0.5mm, which is midway between those two limits. I assume that's what Fiat intended you to do.
