I'm sure this must've been asked before, but I've used the search and can't find it anywhere...

I bought a new wiring diagram from axl gerstl and all the colours are different to the one I removed (the Haynes manual has yet another different set of colours). Unfortunately I'm now a bit lost and so need a decent diagram - anyone got one? I know they're only a few pence from axl gerstl but it'll take ages to send and I need it before the end of the week to be able to get it to the 'controle technique' in order to import it into Luxembourg before I run out of time!

That's just another seller though - I'm after the wiring diagrams quickly - waiting for the post to arrive is not really an option.

It's such a pain that neither axel, nor your link provide wiring diagrams or wiring looms that match the original colours!

£85 for a few wires and connectors cut to length and they still have the cheek to charge for a bit of paper that explains where everything goes. I wouldn't mind so much if they made it obvious up front, but I've lost valuable time over this!

I'm not sure whether this helps or in fact whether it even answers your question, but I found that my 500F had wire colours that equated with the 500L/R. Maybe yours shares colours with the 126 ???

I'm also assuming that what you've bought is a new loom. The new loom will be fairly simple and will be structured in a similar fashion to the old one - that is, wires servicing different parts of the car will be collected together so, for example, there will be a long set of wires bound together that will go to the rear of the car, a similar but shorter set that go to the front etc. etc. Once you place them side by side you should be able to identify the major branches and from there work backwards to the fusebox and then on to the instrument binnacle etc. It's going to be fiddly and will take patience and time, but it may be your only option.

I can't help any more - sorry.

Chris

Any help of this one?

Thanks Jake, but wrong model and I already have the Haynes manual where this came from.

Bambino, you're correct - it's the new loom. I've managed to get everything in the right place, but I'm having trouble connecting everything to the fuses and to the driver controls. Time is my real problem - I think I'm going to have to get the credit card out and get it done in the local garage.

Here is the original Fiat wiring diagram straight out of my original owners manual. This is for the 500L which is a bit different from the other 500's.

Jjacob, thanks but this is just the same as my Haynes. I have the old diagram with the old colours...

I was after the new loom diagram, but it went on a low loader today (had to be pushed up from parking in -3 too!).
