Hello

The clutch pedal has gone spongy and difficult to put into gear.

I have a drip near the nsf wishbone

Also the oil on the reservoir is just above minimum. This reservoir is a very small reservoir on left as you look under bonnet from front of car i.e. near steering wheel side

Is this reservoir for the clutch? It doesn’t say

Thank you

Is this reservoir for the clutch?

Yes.

It's quite likely leaking from the so-called quick fit connector which connects the pipes attached to the master & slave cylinders. You can either replace both master & clutch cylinders, or patch the pipework using whatever connection method you can improvise.

If you buy new cylinders, they'll come with their respective pipes attached. Aftermarket slave cylinders are reasonably priced, master cylinders are quite expensive.

Don't continue to drive it until the clutch hydraulics are fixed; you risk permanently damaging both clutch & gearbox.

If it's any consolation, this is a common issue on RHD cars (LHD ones have a cable operated clutch).
