Isn't that a "331 verde salvia"? color from fiat palette 1979-85.

I have just tried calling fiat and they say they cant tell me... its to old.
I have looked over the boot but out of interest where should the sticker be?

Inside bottom of the tailgate...usually on the left as you look at it.
Sam, is it the paint code from the green one you need? It's the same colour as mine isn't it? My sticker's intact in the tailgate (it's stronger than the steel) Name is Verde Alpi but will get code when I'm home later. David

Another bit done tonight, also swapped over the alt as the one on the white on has a nosier bearing (may strip and clean yet)

hmm mk 1 and mk 2 4x4's use the same center and back pieces of the exhaust.

Well, paint sorted now, going to see what kind of match it is although it should be exact.

Hi David, I did ask fiat UK for a list of the press cars, specificly fiat panda 4x4 but they would only give that out to a vat reg company for some reason?
I'll contact dvla but I'm not sure they will give it out, thanks for the research though, I think I'll persist with it as its interesting.
Parked up next to a seat marbeller today, couldn't believe how much was shared with the mk1 including the boot lid!
Hope the weather is OK tomorrow I haven't been able to get anything done!

Wish I could offer an update. Id planned to put engine in today.... not going to happen with the rain
Interesting, the 4x4 sticker is on backwards on that one as well! Mine had the same style of 4x4 sticker but in the same orientation as on mk2 4x4s.

Well today was horrid, Its been raining all day. Got to about 11am and I thought sod it im not going to turn to dust if i get wet.
Bumpers off
Rusty areas treated and painted
Front bumper supports re-welded (may or may not have caused a small fire on our driveway! missus has a sense of humor and i have plenty more cloths)
Scuttle panel almost finished now but waiting for it to be dry
And before I started the bumpers they looked like this:
Wish I could have got more done, as its looking its going to be next week for the engine now.

Looks like you're making good progress & it's looking so much better already
Whose is the Murple (Portofino) next to the Panda? Maybe I'm not the only one who sees nothing odd in jumping between a Panda and a Coupe contrary to some comments....
