Hey guys, Today we have managed to fit a 42mm TB from a punto sporting 16V to an 1108 MPI..The results are (y)..Im very happy with it...Although the ECU is still learning the new setup, the improvement has allready been felt...

With the TB ive got a cold air feed which has the filter down next to the fog lamps, so it can catch only cold air. I have a P75cam to go in to..Hope this will make high revs pleasurable

Big thanks to Kritip cause he had given us the idea!:worship:

hehe yes what I did was i got an inlet of the 16v soprting, cut of the piece were the TB fits on and used that as a spacer.
So i drilled new holes to fit the spacer to the 1108 inlet and used the factory made holes to fit the TB on..Put on some special sealer.

Thats all there is to it!

I really recommend the idea for MPI owners!..I dont remember exaclty what name it is but its that type which turns into gum/plastic type of sealer..Cant remember the name at the moment..Im sure that the tubing is black with a red strip..hehe if that helps.

I think its Wurth..Cant check for you right now cause its at my uncles garage.
Im from Malta so the products down here could be different from the ones uve got.

ill get some but theres nothin special to see..just a slightly diff TB..but ill get some for u...even show u my induction system

I just cant be bored of driving this little car...this morning, after a long sat night, i woke up and went for antoher drive...lol..Really pleased with it..Thanks Kritip. :slayer:

Yes quite a throatier noise...There were two other guys in garage they were amazed by the noise its making...really nice and deep, apart from that, torque has improved immensly..
Now i dont know how a P75cam will perform in it..What u guys think?

^ amazing XD you'll feel the difference in mid range rpm, just a sweet spot in 4th gear ~2500 rpm just fills you with adrenaline! it'll be craving for your foot to be slammed down haha :D great to here that ur TB has been fitted without probs, im guessing that ull feel the full benefit once the ecu adjusts itself. should take a couple of hundred miles for that!

again great job jamie!!

Hey, any chance of a guide? You know how you did it and there is more info on Kritip's original thread.
