Hi guys, i am thinking of getting a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold for my 1.2 16v Cinq. Unfortantely i don't have the budget to buy SS or similar one. So my idea is to make a flange to the head (which is cheap) and weld pipe steel manifold from another car (also cheap) . There are guys which can do that for me also cheap, but the tricky part is what manifold ? From another Fiat, or Alfa, or maybe Opel - C18XE or else ?! Does anyone know which cars are fitted with steel manifolds that can be modified to fit the Cinq ?
i said cheap a lot of times , yea :D

Look for ReproBoy's thread about his 1.4 16V Sei. He adapted Polo manifold.

That Polo manifold looks very fine fitted, it's the way to go. Should be far better than SS for the budget. I'm not sure i will find one for 70 quid as he stated but i'll try

Ming - i am using it now, the car runs with it from over 2 years. But i am on the way of fitting ITB's and the stock manifold seems to me restrictive for higher revs. As most of the time i push the car hard i definately want to upgrade it. Do you think that this not apropriate upgrade ?
Hmmm i searched ebay for the manifold that ReproBoy used, but cannot find it. Any idea ?
