my car is going in for its 36k service tommorow at a non fiat garage. I have decided to take it to an independant garage because i know the quality of their work is very good, and to be honest, i dont trust fiat with my car!

I am thinking of buying some selenia oil however, and asking the garage to use that as i hear bravos like this oil. Can anyone tell me how much i need to buy for a full oil change??? I presume fiat will sell this oil???

is there anything else i should ask him to look out for?

You'll need 5.5 litres
Which means you'll have to buy 6litres (the Selenia oil comes in 2 litre cans).
Think it's about £12. each for the semi-synthetic and £17. each for the fully synthetic cans.

Re: Re: 36k service

which is best?

sounds very expensive that!! Was expecting to pay about £15 for the job lot. Dont they sell it in 5.5 litre cans??

i prefer

i prefer to use Castrol GTX Magnatec in my engine

If you want to extend your engine's life and increase its standard of performance, then feed it Castrol GTX Magnatec - protection from the moment you turn the key.

sorry for the quote :)

Dill.

Re: i prefer

My Bravo is serviced at my local Fiat dealer. Always been happy with their work and MOST of their prices.
Thet use Castrol Magnatec!

Re Capacity

I`ve got Porter`s manual in front of me, and it says: Without filter 1.4=2.5 litres, 1.6=3.5 litres,1.8=3.9 litres. With filter 2.8, 3.8 and 4.3 respectively. Do you trust Porter`s?
