I've just been at a forum meet for my bro's Polo Forum, some guy had a 32" sub!!!!!

sub.jpg

Apparently cost him £1,100. The only response he got all day from anyone was "F*ck Me!!"
Not installed yet, Don't think he'll have a lot of boot space left!!
(It was a Passat, not a Polo, in case anyone's trying to picture installing a 32" sub in the boot of a Polo!! lol)

Re: 32"e; Sub!!!

I seen one of the installed in a demo car...It was not as loud as i would have thought (the guy said it was new and hadnt been run in yet, and refused to crank it up) but f**k me it moved a hell of a lot of air...:)

Re: Re: 32"e; Sub!!!

i saw one of these in the back of a transit, was loud at teh right frequency, problem is they are so big they respond seriously slowly and so can only do seriously low bass. Impressive for shows but pap for listening to music imo!

Always a bit of a laught though!!!! (although if i had £1100 to spend on a sub i wouldn't be driving a passat! lol) No offence to the guy!

Re: Re: Re: 32"e; Sub!!!

They sound DIRE! The moving mass is huge and the cones flex. A show item only.

i agree with tom..anything above 18" is pure looks & no sound...
