then the charge is death by dangerous driving (if it can be proven he drove dangerously) or causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving, but you dont get more jail time or a longer ban if the victim is more dead.
sentencing depends on the CPS case and their recommendations, not cuts and bruises. if you have previous that should make it worse, or if you lied to try and deny it, or if you tried to flee, or if you can be shown to have no remose and generally not give a toss, that will all work against you, and so it should, but the amount of injury you cause isnt your fault, how can you be held responsible for the things that dictate that injury, such as the car the other person bought, or the safety the manufacturer built into that car, or if they were wearing a seatbelt, had a working airbag, suitably adjusted headrest, were overweight, suffered from a heart condition etc etc?
