Technical 2016 Doblo MPV - connecting bluetooth?

Hi All,
So just got myself a 2016 Doblo Trekking MPV, I'm guessing it has the same radio as all the similar year Doblo's. Has anyone manage to connect their phone to the blutooth, and how?
It's got all the steering wheel controls for this, I follow the instructions in the manual and I get the code come up on the dash, I also get 2 devices found under bluetooth on my phone - a samsung galaxy s21. But, when I press pair on either of the found devices it says pairing, then I get a message saying failed, I don't even get an option of entering the code on the dash.
I was hoping with this being newer than my old 2008 Civic it would be easier to connect for using the phone for calls but it seems harder, or is the fiat bluetooth system so rubbish no one bothers with it? So, any suggestions on how to connect?

Could it be something as daft as both phones having the same broadcast Bluetooth name (Samsung Galaxy S21) and the headunit getting confused ? Might be worthwhile removing one from the vicinity of the vehicle, get one hooked up, and then try the second phone. You should also be able to change the broadcast name of the phone if that helps ?

Hi, it's just the one phone and I'm not sure how you change the broadcast name of the phone. I'm going to try again this evening and turn the bluetooth on the phone off and on again and see if thet makes any difference.
