Technical 2013 Doblo multijet limp mode or speed limiter

Hi, I have a 2013 Doblo 1.3 multijet which has a glow plug warning on. Will this cause limp mode. Van has a speed limiter , don’t know if it works, won’t go above 3500 rpm

Hello,

The 3500 rpm sounds more like a result of the limp mode not a speed limiter.

Connect the van to MES or AlfaOBD to check what's wrong.

Would glow plug warning bring on the EMl and cause limp mode ?

You will know the answer once you read the errors with some decent reader and app.

I have, no1 and 2 glow plugs showing fault. Didn’t know if it would bring the EML on and cause limp mode. I know they won’t DPF regen with faulty flow plugs but didn’t know if it would bring on EML
