Technical 2012 Grande Punto radio issues

I have a question to all of my electrician/car friends out there. I am completely stumped why my new radio will not turn on in my car. I've attached a picture of my wire harness coming out from the car. I know the black is ground and the blue is remote. I also know that the white cable is the 12v from the battery. What I am confused on is I've attached a power cable from my cigarette lighter to the 12v memory line in the new radio but it still won't turn on. The one cable I don't know for sure what it does, is the orange and white stripped cable, but i am guessing it's for my steering wheel controls.
