Technical 2012 263 (1.6) Doblo gearbox oil

Hi, I have put up a couple of posts regarding gearbox oil level plug for my 2012 1.6 Multijet.
Having now done a bit more in depth research on the matter, and have identified the gearbox as a C635 type.
There is only drain and fill plugs on this box, and no level plug. So it's a case of drain off and refill only, 1.75 litre refill 2.0 litre from dry.
Obviously before undertaking the task you need to make sure that the fill plug loosens first otherwise you are in trouble if you can't budge it and you have already drained off!

Hi, having just replaced the oil, it wasn't a bad job really. I used a FE75w Fuchs gear oil (recommended). Upon draining and up on front wheel ramps I measured 1.8ltr oil drained off, so I would think that slightly more would drain due to elevation.
I refilled with 1.9ltr allowing for some loss over 68k, using a long pipe in a narrow funnel. I had the new oil bottles indoors overnight to warm and ease pouring through the funnel.
The gear change feels nice and smooth now, straight from cold. Job done [emoji6]
