Technical 2011 Fiat 500c Climate Control Reset.

Hello, I have searched the threads but not found an answer that completely matches this issue.

The HVAC blend door actuator snapped the small tab off that connects it to the blend door. Apparently, this is common issue with this model.

I have worked out a way to reattach this tab back onto the nub left on the blend door but I'm not sure I can get it perfectly aligned with its original position. Access is very limited and difficult to see.

I will need to get the actuator motor to perform a reset procedure and rediscover the open/close limits and hence workout its position. I have experience with Mercedes climate control systems and holding a few buttons down on the AC control panel will start a sequence to position all the flaps correctly.

Is there a procedure to reset the climate control system? I've seen owners of other Fiat models holding the "AUTO & MONO" buttons. Is this the same as "AUTO & RECYCLE" on the fiat 500?

Hasn’t someone already got a technique for this in here?not sure I’ve ever read it as none of ours have had the electronic ac before now.
