After fiddling about with the vacuum lines and having the battery and boost solenoid disconnected, I have got a red steering wheel light up on the dash and fault code U1702. Things I've done to try and resolve this
Replaced the battery
Checked the fuse F24 which is fine
Checked the condition of the infamous D4 connector beneath the fuse box, all looks clean and lovely
Checked the alternator by measuring voltage across the battery terminals whilst running, 14.02V
I am unsure on how further to diagnose this problem, and any suggests are appreciated.
