Hi all.
I have a 2008 120 hp ducato and th e clutch slips in 5 & 6 gear. Is this adjustable or is it a new clutch at 35k miles. There's now sign of any oil under the gearbox or engine. Any ideas?

I had this with mine and even went out and found a clutch on ebay. When I mentioned the slip at the following service the van came back sorted so I think there might be an adjustment or just a stiff clutch pivot arm. Its been like that for another 60k miles and I still haven't replaced the clutch.

I had a new clutch in mine at 45k but it was due to the slave cylinder leaking. They are internal in the gearbox and are a combined slave cylinder and trust bearing assembly.

Not that expensive if I remember (£80 I think) but mine had leaked on to the clutch plate. total cost was £650.

I noticed the brake/clutch fuild going down first, so if yours is dry this may not be the problem, but if you need a new clutch? I would advise you have a new slave cylinder at the same time.

Just an update on my original clutch.......
Its now got past 190000 miles and still working. It does still slip evey now and then and the genuine Fiat clutch I bought at 60k is still in a box under the stairs.
Apart from a recent fueling issue its been a great van. :)
