Technical 2006 Ducato Indicators

Can any one please advise why my indicators have ceased to function.
I have a Ducato motorhome with a cycle carrier fitted. The lights for the carrier are wired through a 7 pin plug. I have had to replace a r/h side lamp(don't ask!!) and now the indicators do not work although they flash with the alarm fob. When I turn the ignition on the gauges flick "backwards" at first before registering normal and the word "batt" flashes for a few seconds where the mileage is recorded.
I am going away Friday so urgently need help.

have you checked the charging? also the battery? Also look for blown fuses.

As you mention replacing the lamp I'm guessing 7 pin plug was probably wired with scotch locks (the bane of my life) if crimped too hard these can sever the cables and if not crimped enough you get bad connections.

I assume you've checked it with the cycle carrier disconnected.
