We have a '54 plate Mk2b Dualogic in the house, and last night I was clearing an unrelated error code on MES when I noticed something odd.
Engine ECU says: 36031 miles.
Instrument panel ECU says: 51740 miles.
Going off the age of the car and the mileage when we bought it (around 2009) I'm inclined to believe it has indeed done 50k, but why is the engine's so low? Does it just mean the ECU has been replaced before we got the car?
Obviously the MOT history has the higher number.
