what do i need to do to replace the radiator? thats leaking too.

i'm in this situ and with winter coming it's a problem...seems an expensive job...is it something an amatuer could do?

ermmmm i wouldnt recommend doing it it was not easy tbh, alot of hidden bolts and wires etc.
its pretty scary once you've got the dash, steering collumn hanging down and heater box out
we charaged about £450 to supply & fit it.

ok right..i once did the cambelt on a vauxhall carlton..took 3 days and was tricky...
what about the hot\cold valve or seeing if theres a blockage..worth doing or is almost certainly the rad.

it blows cold air fine...no leaking ive noticed
and its not got aircon

so you just get no hot air? if so it could be a broken cable or summit.

thats more than dealer charges
how much do you charge then?
but thinking about it, that was including the new engine radiator also.
I dont charge anything....but nearest dealer is 4.5 hour (at £45) + parts & VAT.
