hi, have 2003 2.8tjd has anyone change nearside balljoint on lower suspension arm , any special tools needed? it looks like u can take of antiroll bar, bottom nut and move the suspension arm down, is this possible as need to get to balljoint, thanks kevin

no special tools required but you do need a large set of sockets and torque wrench.
take the whole arm and tortion bar off to get at the lower ball joint took me about 2hrs bought ball joint from warrington fiat who couldnt fit because of the wieght of an and health and safe regs. £56 then saw them on e bay for £18 dont know if the quality was any diff

thanks can you just remove torsion bar nut at bottom, and pull arm downwards to get at the ball joint

Yep, i broke my beloved sykes pikavant ball joint breaker of one of these as its nighon impossible to get both sides of the jaw in there let alone a big hammer.
