Technical 2002 2.8 jtd

Been looking on here for a while but couldn't see what i wanted.
I've had a low mileage 2002 2.8 JTD salvaged van for a number of years and i'm thinking of using the engine in a project.
Can anyone tell me the minimum sensors i will require to make this useable. I'm aware of the sensors directly to the engine, ignition switch etc. but i don't know if there are any other ecu remote sensors, air bag maybe, that will make it complicated or impossible.
Does anyone have a link to the information?

Main thing is you'll need immobiliser antenna and transponder from the key or get the immobiliser turned of in the ecu.

Would that be a physical turning off, disconnecting/jumper or via software to the ecu?

Software in ecu, I would just go with sellotaping the key, antenna and immobiliser unit together until the project is finished at least as from experience, projects rarely get finished and theres no point in spending money unnecessarily.

Immobiliser is seperate unit in the ducato. Engine should run without the cluster.
