2001 scudo.

Hi guys new here.
Just bought a used engine and pump for my scudo but after installing it it turns over great but just wont run? The engine i think was out of a car! So many differences but all changed over from old engine. Tries to run with easy start!

Can any one help please?
I have swapped engines in my Scudo but the new engine just wont run. There is diesel there at the injectors. Even with easy start it wont run! How do i get the pump to talk to the ECU? Thanx G.
