Technical 2001 elx 1.2 8v punto

hi all,my 1.2 elx 8v's air bag light has come on & wont go off,car is bump free so any advice would be greatly appreciated..thanks

take to garage i'm afraid (your airbag system is currently not functioning and will not deploy in a accident situation)

hi,thanks for your reply,will do that ,but have been told it could just be a loose connection under the seat,is there any truth in that???thanks

How long is a piece of String?

is the honest answer to that question

Loose Connection under the seat only applies if you have Airbags in your seat
Most Punto's dont really (actives / Mia / Punto's etc)

The best way to find out is to get a Neat tool that every Fiat Driver should have
And that is Fiat Ecu Scan

Get a £10 to £15 Lead
Stick Fiat Ecu Scan on the laptop and away you go
A Decent free Auto Diagnostic that Diagnose Most faults
The Paid Version is much better tho
