Technical 2.8 JTD Ducato 55 plate

Posted this somewhere already so sorry for repeat but has the oil filter size (diameter) changed prior to 2005 as I have just bought a new one and it is slightly larger in dia than the one thats on the van. There is a pipe right next to the filter so makes a difference if the dia is bigger.

I think that not only are the body sizes different but the thread is too. I had a 2002 2.8 Maxi Ducato with the large filter, tried to fit one of these from my existing supplies on my (for me) new 55 Ducato 2.8 Maxi but not enough clearance, the filter had changed to being slimmer and a different thread... and twice the price!
