Hi all,
Right, I'm trying to track down my mysterious squeek from the engine bay and I'm looking at the engine mount on the timing side of the engine. I've had a look at it and I'm able to pass my finger in between the rubber of the chassis mount and the arm of the engine support... which concerns me.
I assumed the metal of the mount and the metal of the engine support arm would be seperated by a large moulded piece of rubber. On mine, I'm able to put my finger essentially through the rubber. Is the mount a rubber two piece? (one piece for the mount and the other for the support arm)
It's hard to explain but I was wondering if anyone has any idea on how the mount is meant to look and work?
