Just a random question if anyone knows,

Wandered into the fiat professional showroom today,
Salesman tried selling me a 2.3 150 m/jet 11 brand new van

He says they have changed or modified this 150 2.3 since its introduction in 2011 on build euro 5's

As I prefer my 3.0, I'm just wondering if anyone can confirm he's correct or more likely fobbing me off lol

I tried a 150 in 2012 and wasn't impressed at all, basically it was a tuned 130 using a vvt turbo as far as I know and fully expect the x290 new ones to be exactly the same

What put me off was its got a timing belt & as i do 90-100k a year i thought 18 months down the road i would be paying out north of £500 on a replacement belt (n)
i love the 3 litre :worship: :D

Same here mate, 323000 now 3yrs old last month
The extra for the engine pays for itself there, and I'm avg 37-45 mpg still, don't thrash it, was remapped at approx 25,000, still original clutch too, she does hesitate though when not under load, new throttle valve last month, and nothing showing on multiecuscan and fiat system (was in Thursday) booked in next thurs/fri for them (iveco truck & fiat professional dealer) to have a play with

Still think that salesman was fobbing me off, oooo bloody hate being told what I should have when I know what I want lol
