2.0L multijet egr valve cooler.

Has anyone had the egr valve to bits on the later 2.0L multijet.? This is a Doblo but I think the Punto Grande and some vauxhalls have the same valve.
The plastic end housing has started leaking on mine. It seems this is common on these.
It seems an over large casting for an egr. Anybody got any diagrams of what's inside or changed the end casing?

Just close that annoying valve, and forget about it.
Your engine will be more than happy (just don't tell Greenpeace about it... )

It's not as easy as that. The egr valve is part of a big alloy casting with a manifold flow butterfly inbuilt. On the end is a plastic housing that holds water to cool the egr gas heat exchanger. Blocking of would still leave the water.
I managed to find a casing on eBay £64 plus postage and fitted it today.
Done better jobs but it's all sorted now.
This is the later 2.0l 16v multijet. God help us with all the extras they now fit to modern Diesel engines.
