especially the Rover V8 looks mighty good and hey, if it fits in a Mini, why wouldn't it work for a Panda? Just have to look for another gearbox though, Princess gearboxes are almost impossible to find maybe a Peugeot 205 GTI gearbox, or a VW Golf GTI gearbox or something... anyone wanna give it a try?

i saw a while ago, a silver rear engined panda on autotrader. It was fitted with a 3.5 litre rover V8, it was also fitted with a good looking body kit. A mate of mine has also tried fitting a rover V8 to the rear of his panda 4x4, and it ran good until it failed the mot (rust).

If you have a look on ebay, there is a cavalier SRI 2.0 8V for sale near durham, its currently £92, and has mot and tax, so you could have a bit of fun driving the SRI and then take the engine out when the tax runs out (in 4 months time).

You will have to hurry though, as it finishes in a couple of hours time.
