hey guys need some help please have the above car failed mot on high co,got code p0100 out of it for map or vaf circuit fault changed plugs and air filter and cant see any air leaks or anything obvious,any ideas anyone before i take some chances...

Sounds like you need a new maf sensor.

If the car otherwise drives ok I would suggest the lambda sensor. MAF sensor failures usually cause poor running. It may be worth taking it off and giving it a clean with some carb cleaner or IPA though, as if the element is dirty it can cause false reading to the ECU. Be careful not to physically touch the element with anything like a cotton bud though as they break easily.
Aftermarket air filters often cause dirty MAF's, if you have one.
