Hi,

We recently bought this van. It's impossible to make out the readings on the combi instrument at night, there seems to be only one bulb still ok.

How do I remove it to change the bulbs? I unscrewed the two umbracos on the face, but I can only pull it out a few cm, not enough to look behind it.

Do I need to dismantle the entire dashboard to change a few bulbs?

I had a similar problem, on my 95 ducato, I found the reason the unit would not come out more than a few mm was the speedo cable, which unclicks quite simply, you will have to turn the speedo unit at an odd angle with the top edge down to get your hand in, replacing it is much more of a chore, you will skin you knuckles and possible mark the surrounding cowel,

I wish you luck

Hi Nick,

Thanks much, I managed to get it out with a little violence, and changed a lot of burned bulbs to led, so hopefully I cont need to get it out again ever. Actually there were many more than expected, so I'll need to order more  Hope I'll be able to get it back in place again :)
