Styling 1981 Fiat 124 rim color

Hey all,

I have 1981 124, Pinafarina anniversary model. The rims on the car are sort of white’ish. Wondering what they looked like originally?

Perhaps it's just my old eyes but it looks like dull bare aluminum...are you sure there's paint on them?

Yes , that's what it appears to be...it looks a bit oxidized from age but just do some homework on cleaning aluminum, there are tons of products and methods out there to achive the original finish that your going for! They could be media blasted or just cleaned with a good scrubbing brush and the cleaner of your choice..
